March 2002 Articles

***

The first article looks at EFL education across three countries, Korea, The Czech Republic and Greece. The author has taught in government high schools in all countries. The second article is an expose of just 'who' can be an English teacher in EFL situations. This month is being phased out, thus only two articles remain for viewing.

Article 2. The critical age hypothesis. A critique of research methodology.

The third article takes a critical look at just who can and should teach EFL. It also looks at a comparison of the Japanese JET program, and the Korean EPIK program, as well as European standards.
