Nolan Weil

Nolan Weil is Associate Professor of ESL in the Intensive English Language Institute (IELI) at Utah State University where he teaches courses in academic reading, writing, and oral discourse, as well as various content-based topics courses.

He is particularly interested in reading pedagogy and is an advocate of the coordinated use of extensive reading to promote greater reading fluency and intensive reading to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to better comprehend and make use of texts for academic purposes.
