To
get to Haeundae you can catch a subway to #203,
(about 29 minutes) or if you are staying downtown,
catch a taxi over the Ocean Bridge (15 minutes
journey) From the Conference to Haeundae is
a direct line - 40 minutes travel time.
The
site of the new building designed for the APEC
Conference held in November 2005. It's a 5-minute
walk from the Westin Chosun Beach Hotel.

aquarium is located on Haeundae Beach, and boasts
numerous species of aquatic life as well as
shark diving.

Perhaps
the most scenic and famous stretch of sand in
Busan, it attracts large crowds in the summer.
Some 1.5km long and 30-50m wide, the beach has
an average water depth of one meter and is equipped
with all the necessary facilities, including
shower rooms, changing rooms, game rooms, shops
and accommodations.

Kwanganli
Beach is famous for its fine sand. The seabed
has a mild slope with an average water depth
of 1.5m and an average water temperature of
21 degrees in Celsius. A variety of convenience
facilities are also available. Tourist spots
near Busan are easily accessible.

By bus: From Busan Station, take City Bus No.
40, 41, 42, 139, 140, 240 or 302 for Haeundae.
From Dongnae Express Bus Terminal, Take City Bus
No. 131, 131-1.
By subway: Take line 2 to stop #209, Kwangan.

Located
about a 15-minute walk from Haeundae Beach,
this new building is a shopping mecca and features
a 10-theater cinema and many eateries and coffee
shops.
The Yong-poon book store has alarge variety
of English books/novels/mafazines. From Haeundae
Subway stop (203) it is a two minute walk.

Songjeong
Beach is 1.2km long and 57m wide. It has clear
water and a thick pine tree forest at the entrance.
Visitors can enjoy deep-sea fishing at the northeastern
end, where fresh water comes in and many rocks
surround the area. It is most frequently enjoyed
by the local residents since it is quieter and
cleaner than the better known beaches.
Transportation:
Take City Bus No. 100, 100-1, 139, 140, 141 or
302-1 and get off at the Songjeong stop. It's
a 600-m walk from there. |

The
UN Cemetery contains the graves of soldiers
from the 16 different countries that sent troops
to Korea during the Korean War as part of the
UN Forces, along with the soldiers from five
other countries that sent medical units. Trees
sent from the various nations decorate the cemetery,
and a 12m-high memorial tower at the entrance
honors the UN troops who fought during the Korean
War.

By Bus: Take Seomyeon-bound bus No.25, 68, or
93 or Busan Station-bound bus No.134.
By subway: Take Gwanganli-bound subway Line 2
and get off at stop #213, Daeyeon. It's a 15-minute
walk from there.
