Masters in TESOL

The Asian EFL Journal philanthropic division is now sponsoring 50% off a  Masters in TESOL. Applications are invited for limited  positions at the Ma TESOL (to be held at University Visayas, Cebu) and conducted by the Asian EFL Journal lecturers. The course takes into account the demand of the teaching   profession to complete an Ma in one   year and the demands of Governments and major employers   in Asia for this type of course. It also takes into account the large fees charged by universities that puts Masters study out of reach of a vast majority of   dedicated professionals

The   TESOL Ma will contain unique modules not taught elsewhere in the  and include topics we strongly believe will be dominant on Language Learning in the next decade.

 

Details.

  • One year enrollment with extension if requested
  • Course fee $20,000 less 50% sponsorship by Asian EFL Journal
  • 4 week attendance block  beginning in August followed by on-line meetings with supervisors and co students  via our patented technology developed by Inteleface for high speed high resolution video conferencing thesis preparation (to pass the course the Thesis must be accepted by Editorial review at the Asian EFL journal under the control of professor Roger Nunn)
  • Option in lieu of a Thesis students may undertake a project related to English language teaching

  6. TESOL Business (Dr. Paul Robertson)
  7. Project based report
  8. Thesis of 15,000 words (Prof Nunn supervisor)

Financial Information

For August intake we require

a)         Application fee U.S. $100 refunded if not accepted into course

b)         50% Ma fee ($5,000 by May 30th) 25% payable on December 1 and final 25% on graduation

c)         Accommodation \ meals   not included though   hotels ranging from $20-00 a night single occupancy ($10.00 shared) available. Full brochure available on studying in Cebu to course students
