Ming CHEUNG, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Media and Communication, City University of Hong Kong. She is currently the Program Leader of Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Integrated Strategic Communication. Her research interests and teaching areas include persuasive communication, visual communication, integrated marketing communication, advertising, design, new media, and professional discourse analysis.
She won the Teaching Excellence Award of CityU in 2004-05. Prior to joining CityU, she worked in the public and private sectors for more than 10 years, as Project Manager in the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and as Principal Consultant in an advertising and design agency.
